Culprit is one of the most underrated artists within the music scene he’s had videos showcased on various music platforms such as SBTV, Mixtape madness, GrimeReportTV, Link up TV and GRM daily. All of the aforementioned platforms have over 10,000 subscribers, this emphasises the quality Culprit has, the fact such large platforms want to showcase his talent is a credit to himself. However he doesn’t receive the recognition he deserves, his versatility within music is exceptional he is able to spit on both rap and grime instrumentals whilst still encaptivating his audience. This is quite rare as fans become used to a specific flow when listening to an artist, they may become irate due to changes to an artist’s style. However Culprit has a loyal fan base that listens to his content and admires his exceptional amount of talent, however the fan base is ridiculously small in comparison to the recognition he deserves.

His lyrical ability doesn’t reflect his age his lyrics are far superior to artists twice his age, I’ve had to listen to his songs numerous times to understand his wordplay. The way he is able to incorporate relatable puns into his content is admirable, as this allows his audience to admire his talent whilst understanding his intricate word play.

For an artist at such a young age he has accomplished an astounding amount, with 2 mixtapes able to download on Mixtape madness one of the most iconic music platforms within rap and grime. Personally my favorite out of the two mixtapes on Mixtape Madness is Hungry due to variation of instrumentals and exceptional lyrics. He released Hungry and 17 within the same year (2016) this is exceptional as you see some artists release projects years apart; I believe consistency is key to succeeding within the music scene. Due to the fact there is always new talent coming into the scene, so to stay relevant you need to provide your fan base with an array of music showcasing your versatility, this shows your fans you are able to create a variety of top quality music.

The question I assume you’re all asking is do you think Culprit will be a success? I am one hundred percent sure he will, his work rate is exceptional yet he doesn’t rush his music, he recently posted on twitter “I don’t rush no music.” This is exactly the type of attitude all artists need, take time in your work create the best possible version and you will succeed as people will see the amount of effort that goes into creating excellent bodies of work such as Hungry and 17.
