Jaykae started the New Year by dropping his latest banger NO produced by Bowzer Boss. The track was released at 5pm New Year’s day on p110’s YouTube channel accumulating 15,559 views just under 20 hours. The visuals combine various clips of Jaykae sold out headline show in the Birmingham O2 as well as various other pieces of footage filmed by P110.

The fact Jaykae is producing such high quality tracks has a sense of sentimental value to me, as he was the first Grime artists I really listened to he played an integral role in me becoming so invested in the genre itself. So finally being able to witness Jaykae receives the recognition he deserves for his content is amazing. I have no doubt in my mind 2017 will be a year Jaykae will cherish because he’s going to receive an abundance of awards and I wouldn’t be surprised if his next project “Where have you been?” reaches number one in the album charts.

As we all know Where have you been has being in the pipeline for a significant amount of time however I know Jaykae will only release it when he believes the content meets the standard he wants to portray to his huge audience. If you take into account the standard of content he has been releasing in Toothache, Pull up and No you must feel a rush of excitement at the thought of a vast selection of tracks at that level of talent. So be patient because when Jaykae drops where have you been you will not be disappointed. When speaking about Jaykae’s latest content you can’t forget about Bowzer Boss, personally he is a producer I’d never heard of before Pull up and No however I will never forget him. His instrumentals are top quality combining his talent Jaykae combined to create one of the most formidable duo's within music to date. Pull up accumulated over a millions views which is outstanding any but take into account the fact Some more prolific producers are unable to accumulate that many views from one track, his accomplishment is therefore even more prolific than first thought thus allowing him to stand out within a genre that’s receiving global attention right now.

Personally I can’t wait to see what 2017 beholds for this iconic duo anything is possible “where have you been” is going to create an enigmatic wave within the scene and as Jaykae states in a variety of interviews such as his three separate Meet the artists interviews with his now manager Despa Robinson I believe he is going to tour up and down the country alongside various other global locations shutting down each and every event creating one of the best live Grime shows we will ever witness. I also think we will see Jaykae in various acting roles within the future, as he stated in his first Meet the artist interview he wanted to go into acting and attended a media school for a short period of time. So basically don’t be surprised if you see Jaykae popping up everywhere you look, tours, films, radio everywhere. 2017 is going to be the year Jaykae fulfils his potential and shows the rest of the scene what they are competing with.
