New Gen Masterpiece

I can’t remember the last time I was as excited for an album, so when that small pop up appeared at the top of my phone notifying me that it arrived I couldn’t wait any longer. I had to take in the immense powers of this project and Believe me New Gen surpassed all my expectations.

The album consisting of 17 tracks featuring artists such as WSTRN, Bonkaz, AJ Tracey and Avelino made me feel like a child on Christmas day, the project combines some of the most prolific artists within our scene which resulted in New Gen creating a timeless classic. When I finally have children and they ask me about the music scene, this project will definitely be an example I show them so they are able to comprehend the powers the scene possesses.

I believe in following your passion as you will accomplish far more than someone whose only motivation is financial gain. New Gen is the perfect example of this, they had a dream they followed it and now have one of the most iconic albums within our scene. Their live album show in collaboration with Spotify, reaching number two in the album charts. These accomplishments are astonishing for any artist, but when you take into account how supressed our music scene has been New Gen have created history and will be forever remembered as pioneers of our scene.

Something that makes this album so rare is each time I listen to it I have a new favourite track, it never stays the same thus anchoring how talented each artist on the album is and the exceptional quality of the album as a whole. I guarantee 2017 will be a year to remember for New Gen, I’m predicting more content, shows, tours and global exposure. I honestly see New Gen becoming a global brand the success of their first album is amazing, I can only see them improving as time goes on the sky is the limit for these young entrepreneurs.
