Finally Kamakaze dropped his Fire in the booth freestyle and he definitely didn’t disappoint. His flow as per usual was exceptional even though is lyrical wordplay may be rather complex, he still manages to create a unique smooth flow that you can’t help being memorised by.

His fire in the booth is by far one of the best I have ever listened too, the hype he creates on the mic is outstanding. I can’t help it I skank to every track, freestyle or set he is on, I wish I’d have discovered Kamakaze earlier as he has quickly risen in my rank of favourite artists. As well as shutting down generic Grime beats he proved he is able to create a vibe on a Hip Hop flow anchoring the fact he would be able to create mainstream tracks that would tear up the charts.

As well as being one of the most prolific break through artists of 2016, he is a professional footballer for Dagenham & Redbridge. He plies his trade within central midfield where he has accumulated 21 appearances this season all first team starts, no substitute appearances anchoring his integral role within the team and highlighting how much talent this man possesses both within the music and football industry.

As well as shutting down his Fire in the booth he also demolished the latest Grime Show set on Rinse FM receiving a Reload 2:13 minutes into the set. The set features various MC’s such as Wax and Mez who are both exceptional artists within the scene, but Kamakaze definitely held his own showcasing the power he possess on the mic and forcing people to recognise the fact 2017 will be the year of the Kamdog.

I come from up North specifically Leeds so when I heard Kamakaze’s JDZ Media Road rage part 1, I couldn’t help but laugh because his northern accent is weirdly accurate which was an obvious strange contrast from his own iconic accent.

I am unbelievably excited to hear what 2017 has in store for Kamakaze, I believe he will be able to pursue careers within both football and music and will succeed in both. It would be phenomenal to see him sign for a prolific football team, alongside shutting down shows in venues such as Alexandra palace as he would be the living embodiment of succeeding at anything you wanted to do thus being the perfect role model of the youth of today.
