Now I generally write one specific artist and dissect their content delving deep into their music and their growth as an artist. Whereas today I want to allow my readers to take in 5 of the most prolific tracks from the new age of artists within the music scene we all love.

Bonkaz - We have all seen Bonkaz crazy work rate dropping an array of high quality projects such as Mixtape of the year, F**k Fame and working under pressure. So we all understand that Bonkaz is a pioneer for the scene providing us all with exceptional content so it’s no surprise I had to include him within this list. So the track I believe you all need to take in is like that which is featured on F**k Fame, the vibe he created on this track is outstanding I have found myself sat in classes spitting his bars getting myself gassed unable to control myself. He is by far one of the most talented emcees I have ever listened to and I genuinely need my readers to understand this as it will genuinely improve your life, I believe listening to good music plays an integral role in a person finding a sense of self actualisation within their life as music improves a person’s mood significantly and that’s exactly what Bonkaz is able to do.

Grim sickers – obviously I couldn’t miss out Grim Sickers Kane is one of the craziest tracks I have ever listened to, the type of skanking this track provokes is ridiculous it almost possesses you. Some may say the song is rather repetitive however I believe the track is exceptionally clever as Grim was able to create a variety of sentences combining the same words, the originality of the track played a key role within its success and definitely played a part in it becoming one of the most prolific tracks of 2016.

Lotto Boyzz – Now AbdiTV put me on to this group, sharing a clip of their track “No Don” I instantly knew I had to take in this collective, their vocal range is exceptional they combined a great flow of bars with a mesmerising melody. Now trust me you will be seeing their name everywhere now you’ve being notified of their powers because that’s exactly what happened to me, I played the track in of my classes and a girl started singing along. I’m expecting big things for Lotto Boyzz as they are able to appeal to both a male and female audience as their content combines the best of both worlds.

67 – Now I have to say I’m not too fond of drill music due to the repetitive nature of the genre, however I believe 67 began this trend due to the exceptional quality of content they created. So I have to admire them, they created a trend that has travelled the globe people all around the world listen to their music now which is a phenomenal accomplishment. In no means am I stating that 67 created drill because that’s not true they just brought the genre to the forefront of our minds we will forever associate drill with 67 that’s a fact. So the track I believe you should all listen to is Lets Lurk which features the landlord himself Giggs. This track was the first ever drill track I enjoyed, I loved the base within the track mixed with the array of other sounds such as snares and adlibs, the gritty real life topics they spat about were also highly influential reasons of the tracks success as they were able to tell a story in a different vibe to that of rappers who generally use melodic instrumentals to anchor the hardship they spit about. The use of base is by far my favourite feature of the track, it is a perfect preview of the genre, as numerous artists have copied the slang they use so if you are able to understand and enjoy this track I can almost guarantee you will enjoy the genre as a whole.

Big Zuu – Big Zuu has dropped countless tracks that could be mentioned within this article however the one that sticks out most to me is his ODB freestyle which is available on his personal Soundcloud. The track itself has 25.6k views and 783 likes which I believe is ridiculous the track should be hitting millions of views, Zuu created a track that is the perfect preview of the Grime scene the cold vibe smooth flow and immense amount of energy he was able to portray within this track is phenomenal. I believe within the next few years he will become a figure head for the Grime genre and will definitely be competing in the charts.
